Couldn't respond in the guestbook area...anyways, I would recommend you alter the offset in NexStorm rather than move the antenna. Makes it easier and quicker to make adjustments. I doubt there is anything wrong with the antenna even though it is pointed to true north. I suspect it has to do with your surroundings and the location of your mount causing the signals to be shown in the wrong location. What I did was use external sites that show lightning strikes as well as radar plots to show where the storm is located. Then you can use the offset in the config and in real-time see the strikes move on your map. Keep making adjustments until the strikes are plotting in the right area. Once you are satisfied with your settings be sure to email Rick so he can put your offset in the strikestar software he runs.
