2008 Tesoro Iron Dog Entry is Open. Remember, completed FORM’s 1 & 2 are required with payment!
Please get your 2008 Entry Forms Race Rules from www.irondog.org or contact us and we will be happy to mail, email or fax you a copy too!

2008 Pro Class Race Rule Changes (please read the complete race rules thoroughly)
Ø Starting Order Drawing based on entries and lottery drawing
Ø Reduction of Layover Options: Skwentna, Rohn & Poorman, just checkpoints.
Ø Nome Pit Crew Assistance, Limited to 2 assistants, but not limited to just race participants
Ø GPS (Global Tracking System) Requirements
Ø Sleeping Bag Requirements
Ø Race Official Policies, Procedures and Enforcement
Ø 2008 Approved 4-Stroke Snowmobiles
Ø Elimination of Fuel Assistance outside of Iron Dog Check Points
Ø Outside “Illegal” assistance, defined
2008 Participant Entry Procedure Changes
Ø Pro Class, 2 Entry Levels changed to 3 Levels; Early. Mid and Late, Pro Class
Ø Trail Class, 1 Entry Level changed to 2 levels; Early and Late
Ø Pro Class GPS Return Deposit
Ø Rate Increases
Ø Forms 1 & 2 must be completed and submitted with payment within the deadline, to be considered entered within that entry period.
