The 2008 CAN-AM Off Road Challenge brings a full day of wheel to wheel Off Road Racing action to the 4 mile forested clay track in central Illinois. Celebrating 36 years of promoting Off Road Racing the Lincoln Trail Fall Classic takes on a new twist. The Main Event offers a Baja type start by class with a single overall Champion at the end. A land rush start featuring Limited Trucks begins the 2008 Harris Metals 200km followed at five minute intervals by Limited Cars, Modified Trucks, Modified Cars and finally the Super Fast Open Class for trucks and cars. Over 3 hours of fierce Off Road Racing action to determine the 2008 Champion. While individual class winners will be recognized, prize monies will be awarded based on overall finishing position not by class.
The Day`s Racing activities begin with the Phyllis Blume Mini Enduro, featuring stock and modified classes for Pilot/Odyssey, Trophy Karts and Side by Sides. Followed by the Harris Metals 200km bringing a taste of the Baja to Midwest Endurance Racing, 5 classes - ONE Winner!
