Holmes/Gallagher take the Overall win

The rally racing team of Bill Holmes/Sean Gallagher took the Overall win at the 2009 Southwest Rally Series "Plan B Rally" with their 2008 Bilstein/BFGoodrich sponsored Ford F-150 rally racing truck. The event was held January 31 2009 in Ridgecrest, California
The team won five out of the six stages that made up the event, taking second in one. At the end of the event and after all the road points were added to the other competitors scores, the race team of Holmes/Gallagher won the Overall win by 1 minute and 48 seconds.
When asked at the finish line about the event, Bill said,"I have never been to the Area 51.1 Motor Sports Facility, so I was not sure of the suspension setup… looks like we nailed it on the first try."
The team of Holmes/Gallagher is now leading three series championships for the 2009 season: California Rally Series, Southwest Rally Series and Rally America SW Regional Series.
The next event for the team will be the NASA High Desert Trails Rally on February 20-21 2009 at the Area 51.1 Motor Sports Facility in Ridgecrest, California.
