Dear Bob,
First, I would like to say thank you to all our members, sponsors and everyone who has made the Iron Dog possible for all the years preceding my arrival as your new Executive Director. I look forward to meeting many of you and working hard to make 2011 and beyond a great success. A special thank you to all of the unsung heroes along the trail and in the villages - without you, none of this would be possible!

Iron Dog Board selects a new Director
The Iron Dog now has a new Executive Director and Office Manager. The new management team is busy getting ready to tackle the 2011 race. Welcome our new team as they take on the challenges of improving and growing our great race!

Race rules under review
Racers and board members met this week to discuss the race rules for 2011. Several racers brought forward some great suggestions and the committee made some significant progress toward improving the event for everyone.
The board of directors will be reviewing the recommendations and is committed to posting the final rules for the 2011 race, no later than August 1, 2010.
