2012 Iron Dog Starts Now!
Don't wait until Halloween to signup for the race, do it now. The updated signup forms and rules are available online right now.

Donlin Creek, now called Donlin Gold has agreed to continue its sponsorship of the Iron Dog race for 2012. Along with their new name, there will be a few additions to their support this year. Expect the halfway prize to continue and a few other news things we'll tell you more about later this year. If you know someone at Donlin Gold, be sure to tell them thank you for their ongoing support!

Upcoming Events
Check the Schedule: The 2012 Schedule of Events is up now, and we'll be updating as we go. The first events start October 8 & 9, 2011 with the Oxygen and Octane in Anchorage and the Go Winter! Expo in Fairbanks. Iron Dog will be at BOTH events this year with new merchandise, Iron Dog race champions and more. Stay tuned for details.
2012 Race Rules
New Rules
Layovers, fueling and safety: The new rules were published August 1, 2011. The Board has voted in a few changes you should be aware of for the 2012 race. Visit the Iron Dog site for details and to download the new rules - then stop by the Facebook page to talk about the changes.

Welcome Steve Mattila: Steve is our newest Board Member, taking the seat that Butch Novak held for many years. We are excited to have Steve represent the Iron Dog and maintain the positive working relationship with Spenard Builders Supply that Butch fostered for so long.
